Horseshoe Bend

Horse Shoe Bend is one of the most popular stops along the road south of Page Arizona. It is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River. The hike is about .6 miles one-way to the overlook. From where I took this shot there is about a 1,000 foot drop, looking down onto the Colorado River. It's kind of a scary feeling teetering on a pointed outcropping looking straight down.
