I got to stand in freezing ocean water for over two and a half hours to capture this fantastic moment at Thor's Well on the Oregon coast. What an amazing experience to stand next to this wild blow hole and witness the power of rock and sea and sun. f/22, ISO:50, 4 Seconds, 28mm. Located at about four miles south of Yachats, in the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area (Oregon, USA), there is a bowl-shaped hole made of the rough basalt shoreline, which is popularly known as Thor's Well. It started as a sea cave but was left with ocean water surging in and out after its roof collapsed. Photo
