This lush cascade is located just north of Tibble Fork Reservoir in Utah on Route FR085. It flows into the American Fork River. This spot had me at hello. I had spotted a beautiful waterfall along the side of the road and spent an hour shooting that one. I've learned that before I leave a site it's always a good idea to snoop around a bit before I move on. Boy did it pay off today. Just upstream from my original shot, I found this amazing spot absolutely brimming with moss and silky waterfalls. I don't know what it is about a mossy waterfall, but I love them. I think it is the concentration of life I always find in waterfalls and mossy streams like this one. So, the lessons for today are don't be in a rush to move on too quickly, even when you think you have found a good thing, and always celebrate life and good things that grow in pure places.
